Airspeeder names its first three pilots
Thomas Bitmatta flies for Team Australia, Mason West for the DeLorean Airspeeder Team and Seth Moore for Airspeeder New Zealand. More pilots to follow.

Airspeeder has named the first three pilots for its first International Series, a grid of five national teams. All three come from top-level FPV drone racing.
Thomas Bitmatta, from Melbourne, races for Airspeeder Team Australia. He is a five-time Australian Drone Nationals champion, a three-time Australian Open champion and a two-time winner of the MultiGP International Open World Cup.
Mason West races for the DeLorean Airspeeder Team, representing the United States. He won an Airspeeder community simulator tournament, later earned a place on the Drone Champions League wildcard team, and works as a drone technician on live broadcasts.
Seth Moore, from Christchurch, flies for Airspeeder New Zealand. He is an FPV pilot and camera operator who took first place in New Zealand in 2026 and finished fifth overall at the Australian Drone Nationals.
The remaining pilots will be announced as preparations continue for the series’ opening private race in Adelaide in November 2026. Airspeeder says the pilots will do simulator work, aircraft familiarisation and operational training before they compete. The exact race day has not been published.
